A Little Ridin' & A Little Fishin'

Brent, Bailey & Rebecca came up on Wednesday (March 23) and they rode Lightning for a little while.

Mrs. Betty & Bailey tried to feed the ducks but Molly kept running them off!

Molly was a tired, thirsty puppy when we got back to the house....

so her "Bubba" shared his water with her.

A Hot Spring Saturday Afternoon

Brent & Rebecca came up and Larry & Brent took a turn riding Lightning. He bucked with them at first but settled down after a few minutes. It was past 80 degrees on this March day - of course Brent and Molly had to play with the frisbee.

On Sunday afternoon we went to Dane's and looked at his plants and monkey grass and Brent & Rebecca gave us the "tour". The stand and field is where Brent and Rebecca hunt during deer season.

Fertilizing the Pasture

The dry summer we had caused the grass to die in the pasture. Larry put this fertilizer out before a rain - hopefully some of it will come back out this year. Lightning thought it was time to eat of course! March, 2011
